The purpose of these pages is to provide a rapid comparison between the different consequences of the conventional and New Chronology. Not all details are shown, and the main purpose is to highlight the differences as they pertain to Old Testament books and episodes. It should be remembered that in some periods, there are different opinions (whether conventional or alternative chronological models are used) as to the exact calendar years during which a specific individual lived and reigned.
All pages are used in essentially the same way. The main display shows an overview of the major nations, dynasties and individuals pertinent to the Biblical period in question. By moving the mouse over the image, explanatory notes will appear either in a box to one side or as a popup over the page. In many cases, additional notes may be found by clicking on a specific item.
Important note
These pages can only be viewed by those using Microsoft Internet Explorer browser version 5 and upwards, as a browser technology called VML is used to display the information. Some users may be able to install this with other browsers, but IE 5 and subsequent versions have it installed as a routine part of the browser. Those with different browsers will still be able to access the earlier versions of these pages, which only show the New Chronology dates. To navigate to these, use the menu on the left of this page, or the following link:
