So he came and kissed him. He noticed the smell on his clothing and blessed him, saying, “Ah, see, the smell of my son is the smell of the open country blessed by Yahweh! |
wayyiggash wayyishshaq-lôw wayyârach ’eth-rêyach begâdâyw wayebârakhêhû wayyômer re’êh rêyach benîy kerêyach sâdeh ’asher bêrakhôw YHVH |

Now may he give to you, true God, dew from the skies and fat from the earth, abundant grain and new wine. |
weyitten lekhâ hâ’elôhîym mittal hashshâmayim ûmishemannêy hâ’ârets werôb dâgân wethîyrôsh |

May you be served by the tribes, and may homage be paid to you by the multitudes. Become a leader to your brothers and homage will be paid to you by the children of your mother. Those who curse you are cursed, but those who bless you are blessed.” |

Yitschaq replied to Esau “But look, as leader I have placed him over you, and all his brothers I have given him as servants, and with grain and new wine I have sustained him. As for you now - what can I do, my son?” |

Esau said to his father, “Is there no blessing after that for me, my father? Bless me, me also, my father.” He raised his voice and wept. |

Yitschaq his father answered him, “See now, from the fat of the earth may your household be and from the dew of the skies above. |

By your sword you will live, and your brother you will serve. Yet at the time when you grow restless you will tear his yoke away from your neck.” |
