Psalm 23A worship song of David:Yahweh is my shepherd, never shall I be destitute. In pastures verdant he lies me down, by waters calm he leads me, my soul he makes new. He steers me in routes of right relationship for the sake of his name, even when I travel in the valley of shadowed death. Never need I dread evil when you are with me. Your sceptre and your staff, they comfort me: you spread before me a table plain to my enemies. You crown with oil my head, my cup is drenched - surely goodness and mercy attend me all the days of my life, and I shall sabbath in the house of Yahweh through the everlasting days. |
